My name is Dr. Ashley Mercer. I am a licensed psychologist providing therapy and counseling services in Edina, South Minneapolis and the surrounding areas.
My approach to therapy is centered in a strong belief in the science of psychology and counseling, blended with the arts of empathy and compassion (and a good sense of humor).
In my work as a psychologist, I strive to honor who you are and the path you have traveled. Primary in this process is a focus on your values and worldview. My theoretical orientation to therapy is rooted in the principles of insight-oriented therapy, relational theory, mindfulness principles, feminist and multicultural orientations, and cognitive behavioral (CBT) approaches to change.
In addition to Minnesota state licensure as a psychologist, I am also a PSYPACT provider.
